Promotional methods.

Promotional methods.

The use of promotional methods in also important but its key they are used in the right place I think that perhaps advtisesing on video channels on YouTube that are directly linked to music would be important like VEVO. However I think that one of the most useful ways of advtisesing is the side of a bus as so many people see it as they travel I think it would be invaluable asset.

The use of new media.

The use of new media.

New media is important and in my magazine I would use multiple types of new media for example links to social networking sites, such as Facebook twitter and Google plus. The use of these sites will add a feeling of community behind the magazine and this will therefor increase the amount of people who will view and buy the magazine the second example of new media I will use is, website links I will use the website that they will be directed to in order to create an online equivalent of the magazine allowing people who can’t or don’t want to buy the paper back copy too but or subscribe to this instead.

Target audiance profile.

Exisiting music mastheads.

Here are some examples of mastheads, that i found they, all have unique fonts, and pictures this helps for brand awareness. they are mostly red this form of agressive advertising. Gives a sort of in your face, geting your eye. They server a simple purpose of allowing people to recognise your magazine from a far. The mastheads are not like the names thow they resemble the same thing.

Names of existing magazine.

Vibe, XXL, Clash, Nme, Tilt, Kerrange, Mogo, Aload

Music magazines dont seem to have a name on a tangable thing, Vibe Clash Nme Tilt Mogo, this unreal, name does provide an intresting, idea of showing an "unreal" idea...

Preliminary task, Front cover and contents page.

The haydon blues magazine has all the key concepts of a magazine. The text on the front cover has red paint splats behind it in order to highlight the, text in yellow as theses are sell lines they need to stand out! The contents page has the key concepts of a contents page, The picture is relevent to the contents page as it is a list of directions, for the school! (To the reception)

The way the text stands out could deffinaly be improved.
